Residential House Supervisor
High School Diploma or equivalency with two years experience in related human services field; Non-violence management of aggressive behavior (Safety Care) training; ability to comprehend and write Computer knowledge a plus. English at traditional Grade 12 level; possession of a valid driver’s license; a safe driving record, and an agreement to use one’s personal vehicle for business purposes if so required; and an acceptable CORI check.
The Residential House Supervisor will assist program participants in developing daily living skills and attaining goals and objectives stated in the Individual Service Plan while assisting Residential Director with administrative and case management duties. The House Supervisor will support and educate Direct Care staff in implementing Behavior Plans in a consistent manner and assisting individual in achieving ISP goals. Will accompany individuals to all medical and other appointments.
Physically capable of transferring people of adult weight ranges to and from wheelchairs, or other adaptive equipment.
Able to apply physical restraints as taught in NVMAB training.
40 Hours- Schedule TBD with manager
