AEI offers two-day programs designed to specifically meet the goals and needs of our individuals. We offer our services to individuals 22 and over in the Bristol County area.
Day Habilitation
AEI's Day Habilitation Program grew out of a commitment to the individuals we serve. As the needs of individuals we once served in our Vocational program increased and became more medically-based, we reconfigured a portion of our facility and launched this new program in 2000. The Day Habilitation program offers medical, therapeutic, and developmental support that promotes the ability of individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently in everyday community settings. An interdisciplinary team works with participants designing individualized programs addressing the skills, knowledge, and abilities one needs in order to self-manage in one's community.

Community Based Day Supports
AEI's Community Based Day Supports (CBDS) provides activities and programs conducive to the development of interpersonal and social skills critical to positive community interaction. Participants in the CBDS program volunteer in various non-profit and community settings and participate in educational and recreational outings. Participants work on the development of life skills and learn to share the company of others in their community.
AEI offers an Extended Day Program from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for individuals who would like services to continue after our day programs end.
